These gobies inhabit shallow coastal waters, often found near rocky reefs, tidepools, and seagrass beds. They prefer areas with ample hiding spots and gentle currents.

Geographical Range

Bluebanded Gobies are commonly found along the eastern Pacific coast, ranging from British Columbia to Baja California.
